should not even be picked for rangers. probably one of the most over-rated players at present. totally agree with you in saying that he could not cut the mustard down south whilst playing for a mediocre blackburn side. what do these people see in him. I watched "square-baw-barry" on numerous occassions down at the theatre of pies(rugby park for those of you unaware) and saw him being over-shadowed by , not only various rugby parkers, but other Rangers greats such as bob malcolm, stephen hughes and peter lovenkrands.

I don't think he should automatically be picked for the team. He needs to earn his place. Look what happened to England (Ha, Ha) 'cos they wouldn't drop Beckham. I think calling him a reject is a bit harsh as he played a lot of last season through the pain barrier which people forget. If he gets his fitness back and starts playing well for Rangers there's no reason to keep him out the squad. As for being captain I think there are other players better suited to the role. Oh and by the way I don't see any Scottish players "hacking it" in any Premiership team. Anyway you don't change a winning formula. 6 points from 6, we're on our way to the Euro championships hopefully.

Barry Ferguson is over rated and should never had left Rangers in the fist place. He couldn't hack it for a crap team called Blackburn Rovers.
He always seemed to be injured when he got called up for the Scotland sqaud.
Scotland don't need Barry Ferguson.
Kilsyth Rangers need him though, and I'm willing to pay a transfer fee of 0.73p for him and get him a job at Tescos.

I do not rate Barry Ferguson and i don't think he should get into the Scotland camp never mind the squad there are far better players in the team and they now play football and pass the ball with confidence and don't need Barry to come in and play square balls all day well done scotland.

Barry ferguson is one of the best midfielders we have in todays game, if he returns to form and proves his fitness he will be pushing for a place within the Scotland team.
I dont think anyone should be an automatic pick but the person who keeps him out will have to be playing really well,
I suspect a bit of envy in your question and no doubt you are a green and cream fan from the east end, I am sure Barry will show you how good he is when we play and horse you's in two weeks time..
your a life long thistle fan

confident i think of the p.c.. of the sport replaced into helped with the help of the undeniable fact that the midfielders have been as quickly with the aid of fact the adult men they have been marking. Ferguson is a stable participant or extremely he replaced into an exceedingly stable participant, for sort of 10 minutes and that replaced into years in the past. McGrogger heavily isn't cut back out for international point soccer. the reality maintains to be that Burley bottled it with the help of giving 2 adult men a seat on the bench while that they had needless to say broken between the cardinal sins at a international occasion. That indecision gets back to hang-out him I concern.

Don't think he should be back, dude.
I heard he turn up at training 2 days before a Scotland game with a cow on a rope.
And told Bertie that he was suffering from a calf injury.

Who knows but your Q reminded me of an old joke..
Barry Ferguson walks into a library and says to the assistant 'Err can I have a poke of chips and bottle of ginger Hen?' the assistant replies sympathetically 'I'm sorry son - you're in a library' to which he replies 'Oh err right err (whispers) can I have a poke of chips and a bottle of ginger!!'
