i'm quite sure he isn't married or living with someone because he spends most of his free time with me. he lives nearby but i don't know where exactly. he does have a son living with him (the same age as myself). could it be that he feels embarrassed? he did live in the house with his wife (she left). could it be that he still sees the house as "their" house? or should i be suspicious?

Probably his house keeping skills may not be up to par. Maybe he doesn't want his son to move in on you.

He may feel it would be difficult for his son to cope with, having another woman (the same age as him) in the house that was his mum and dads. But I have a suspicious nature, so I would need to investigate more to see if he is hiding something!

I'd be very suspicious - especially if you have not met his son either.. Can you call him on his home phone? Do you know where it is? If so surprise him one day and be prepared for the worst..

Many people can have an affair - his wife may think he works alot.. be absolutely sure that she has moved out before you invest any more in this man..

Should you be suspicious? Yes and trust your women's intuition. It's usually right.

What does it mean? Ask him. He seems to be open with you about his wife. But look into the potential possibility that he and his wife are not as separated as he leads you to believe. As a result, not only does this cause a moral dilemma, it also becomes a legal dilemma as well. Good luck.

YES, you should definitely be suspicious.
HE MIGHT REALLY BE MARRIED..!!!!!!

I'll bet anything he is still married whether she is in or out of the house. One half of the house is probably hers and he is smart enough not to ruffle the waters.

Do a little detective work and break it off if he is still married. Not to count the fact that he must be 20 to 25 years older than you. NOT A GOOD THING NORMALLY..

I agree with some of the respondents. This is a HUGE red flag. Either he's a lousy housekeeper and is embarrased to show you his home or he's got another woman on the side. Good luck. (Oh, and if things don't work out, send me an email. I'm a great housekeeper and I'm not seeing anyone.)

first of all, you are the same age as his son? maybe he is poor, living with someone he doesnt want you to know about or meet or even see. it is suspicious but just accept it, he may be a little weird like myself.

Maybe he doesnt want you to be seen at his house for his own personal resons. Which in my opinion is a clear signal to be suspicious. Sounds like you dont even know for sure where it is. i think the moral majority of people would say, take me to your house or else. Jim

His place is too gross to take you back to. Maybe he thinks his son will take a fancy to you, these kind of things do happen.
Or could it be that he just wants some time alone with you.

Why not just ask him straight out then you will know what is going on and why he never invites you back to his.

Let me stop you right there. Do not make anymore excuses for this man. I had a lying, cheating and deceiving man that did the same thing. I could never go to his place and that ticked me off until i decided to just drop in and caught him with a woman in her birthday suit. Dump him QUICK!!!
