I like the idea that our past selves are the ones who design our presnet life, like setting up a cirriculum for a class so that we may learn different lessons.
Also I guess I could attribute the way I can know things that there is no logical way for me to really know them, I just do.

I won't use the word belief here because I find it unnecessary(of course that's only true for me). I found reincarnation just as much true as we observe the law of gravity.
Let's take a dive in our dreams. Have you noticed that our dreams reflect our thoughts, our recent activities and our unfulfilled wishes?
In fact you can do some experiments if you had not notice it yet.
Dream experiences are much the same way how reincarnation works. When you dream, your experiences/thoughts create the dream reality wherein you would interact until your dream death(back to the physical reality).
How does reincarnation affects our present life? Take note then just like in dreams you have now the physical reality surrounding you representing your past thoughts and deeds( how you would be treated how you will bound to experience a destined life.). This is called Karma, the materialization of your thoughts and deeds which will make you now the recipient. So it could either be a good or bad karma, depending much how well you did in the past lives.
Your respond to your karma( a different subject), depending the level of your awareness, will carved or influenced your future lives. Just like a set of thoughts learned from waking reality will give another set of dreams to experience.
Remember what Jesus said "you sow what you reap".
I like to go on and talk about it more but I think that's not gonna be possible. So I thought should give you the core answer of your question instead.

not to sure about what i think about reincarnation: but i do know perocupation of questions like these can drive you nuts, so just try to live in the present if your trying to move forword to your future and looking back at the same time you will fall all over the place in the present.

Well to start off you dont need to believe in reincarnation to answer this, some people do and some people dont, answering with a 'i think thats stupid' is a answer right?
but i say that our past lives to affect us in this life, like in our past life we allways bring part of us to the next life, maby a bit of facal look, voice, or somthing we believe in, like people remember things that never happend, a memorie that will never be or has ever been :) i believe in all that!

You carry on past wisdom in the form of instincts. No, future lives do not influence it. Karma is also carried over. Eventually you leave the Samsara altogether and cease to exist.
Buddhas words after he was enlightened:
"I have passed in ignorance through a cycle of many rebirths, seeking the builder of the house. Continuous rebirth is a painful thing. But now, house builder, I have found you out. You will not build me a house again. All your rafters are broken, your ridge-pole shattered. My mind is free from active thought, and has made an end of craving"

i really have no idea. there is a lot of jewish theology about reincarnation and its purpose, but i only know the basics of it. the general idea is that its purpose is for you to complete a purpose you never fulfilled, or to get a second chance at life with G-d hoping you will do better this time.

There is no reincarnation and no past life. What we have is the right here and right now. What we do have is the opportunity to choose where we want to spend eternity. In heaven or in hell. I choose Heaven. Praise the Lord!!

It is believed by many scholars that the belief of past lives is a demonic occurrence IF and I do mean IF reincarnation were true then Heaven and Hell are just a lie and we could do as we please with no true repercussions!!!!!!!
Personally I do not believe in it!!!

I thik reincarnation is a Law.
It's a time to us will be better, and i belive that God give us new oportunities to repair our failers.
