If you know without a shadow of a doubt that it was God who wants you to rebuke the pastor, then you better do it. But you better be sure it was God who wants you to do it, and not your own flesh. Don't be surprised if you receive a cold shoulder for awhile after doing it. Perhaps you could talk to the pastor in private. Maybe he realizes that things have gone awry, but doesn't know how to get things back on course. Just really pray about it and let God do the talking.

YES and NO, A backsliding church is not always the pastor's fault. The whole congregation is to blame. BUT, if it were the pastor's fault, I would rebuke him.

It would depend. How would I know that God gave me that task? Would he speak to me? Plant it in my heart so that I was SURE the thought came from him and not from my own mind? How do I know that it's MY job to chastise the pastor? What makes me think I know more than he does? You'll have to be clearer about how we would KNOW that God had given us this task.

You might start by rebuking in private. Perhaps, if he persists, then rebike in public.

"pastors" are the lowest of the low....the scum of the earth....They make a living by stealing (though extortion) from others, all the while they are screwing the wives and daughters.
