Go out with your friends... get drunk, dance, flirt with girls and have a good time. Dont wallow in self-pity, but allow yourself time to get over it.
You're only human, and have suffered a loss... but you WILL feel better in time.
Surround yourself with friends and family and allow them to help you.

I'm confused. Did you break up with her or did she break up with you? Either way I know both of you will feel sad and experience the loss of a friend. But, if she broke up with you, realize she was not your friend and be happy that it is over and you can find someone who does love you. Go out with friends and people that you can have fun with and care about you. Get busy and try not to dwell on old times with her. Go for a run or exercise until you are exhausted. Good luck.

Ask yourself why you did it? And then start describing her as the woman you cherished in the past tense

If you cherish this woman so much you should not have broken it off with her. If this is the way your mind works, find a tall bridge and jump.

You should accept the fact that you have broken up with her.Give the relationship the grieving period that it requires and then let time work its wonders. As the saying goes time and only time can heal all wounds. Best of luck!

Go out w/ your friends, volunteer your time at charity, work out, write in a journal, talk to a close friend about your thoughts. Just get involved in things around you, so that your days are full. Don't waste time at work moping, use your lunchbreak for that!

Do yourself a favor and take a break... at least three months or until you feel ready again to date. Spend some time on yourself... be kind to yourself and be gentle to yourself... acknowledge that it is painful... and realize that great love entails great risk to the human mind, heart, body, and soul.
