my current boyfriend is very nice but i don't like him anymore but he already told me he loved me but i told him i was not quite there yet. how do i break up with him without hurting him??

Hi, there! These days you have so many options: e-mail, text message, fax, paid advertising on local network TV.
How do you tell him without hurting him? You can't. There's no question you two should at least talk so you can tell him what's on your mind. But first let's start off with how you tell him. I would suggest being direct. Ask him simply, 'Can we talk? There's something important weighing heavily on my mind.' That sets the tone.
Next, you tell him. It will probably hurt.
Finally, and--this is the part you need to remember--how he responds will determine whether you should have even bothered stressing out over HOW to tell him. It might even take some time but if he's mature he will realize that the relationship is about TWO individuals' needs, not simply his own. The old adage is so true where if you truly love something let it go and if it comes back it's yours. The down-side is if he may not react maturely to the breakup and refuses to let you break up with him. Then I would just advise caution but all the more reason to end the relationship. Good luck.

You cant break up w/ him w/o hurting him, the key is to let him down as easy as possible. Tell him you know he loves you, but you just don't feel the same way, and the relationship just isn't what you want right now. Maybe another time and place, but for the moment you just need some space, and ask him to try to understand if he feels for you like he says he does.

huuh!! you're in a tight spot because he already loves you in my opinion there's no way you can break up without him getting hurt.
i would hate to be in your shoes right now.
Maybe you can try to let him know little by little so it does not take him by surprise.

u dont like him anymore??why? what did he do?,there must be something but if its ur choice to break up with him,then tell him yourself that you dont feel the same way like it usd to be,i did that once

me too but im having the same problem i asked the quetion but some people called me a brat but IM NOT so when u get the answer please tell me Please but i was going to tell him straight up but that was too mean when i thought about it so let him down in a private place
