No liquids, creams (or cremes depending on how you want to spell it), etc. is allowed. You can't even bring contact lense solution or rewetting drops. Liquid medications are permitted but it has to be in it's original prescription filled container with the person's name on it and it has to be the same name as on their identification (passport, driver's license, etc.).

Your absolute best bet is to call the airport, airlines, etc. and find out. If you can't get an answer or a telephone number, try contacting your travel agent (if you used one) and they might be able to assist you with either a list of items you cannot bring onboard with your carry-on or possible a direct number to get these questions answered for you.

Good luck and happy flying!

Big advert in the paper today. Going to Europe hand luggage is ok. Go to the US and liquids and things like that are banned. Things bought at the airport shops, which remained sealed are ok. OK .

You can take hand luggage on now. They're just extra thorough about scanning it. Still no liquids or make up but you bring on meds if they're under a certain volume. But yeah, you can bring your electronics on now. There's a list of things you can and can't bring on the BAA website.
