The Soviet Union.
"The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (abbreviated USSR) (Russian: Союз Советских Социалистических Республик (СССР) listen (help·info); tr.: "Soyuz Sovetskikh Sotsialisticheskikh Respublik SSSR"), more commonly known as the Soviet Union, was a Communist state that existed in Eurasia from 1922 to 1991. From 1945 until its dissolution in 1991 it was, along with the United States, one of the world's two superpowers."

Union of Soviet Socialist Republic. The name used for the Communist regime that ruled from 1918. It was still Russia
that was the government name, After Glasnost and the overthrow of Communism the Govt reverted back to just plain ole Russia.
Do not ever believe Ronald Reagen destroyed Communism. Communism be at Communism because it doesn't work.
As China becomes a greedy consumerism company{which is good} Communism will fall there with not a shot but a whimper.
