Being a loner is not that bad. If you are lonely get out. Go meet new people. You could join a health club, church, go see a movie, anything that would help you out. Nobody is going to do it for you except yourself. Life is to short to be lonely out there.

I was in the same boat as you are. You need to hang in there first of all. There were many times I was off work and nothing to do and would go hibernate at home. But I came to the point I have to get out and do something. Opportunities were not going to come to me if I was at home all the time. Go out and do things you like to do. Go to the movies, bowling, just get out of the house and do something that you enjoy and everything will fall into place. Everything happens for a reason. And believe me when you least expect it you will find someone and your life will totally change. Just be patient. I had a hard time being patient because I wanted everything right now. But keep you head up and be patient and it will work out for you.

I am exactly like you, so i know what its like. I was told to just walk into a place and act like you are the king of the world, with out being to cocky. Have some confidence in yourself. Walk up to someone and say hi. Little things like that. It will help, trust me.

Make an attempt to change and quit wallowing. It won't be easy, but you must start somewhere. Quit classifying yourself this way. All people are social creatures.
