Sure, why not? The point of that date is to have fun and let both of you get to know each other. I've spent $5-- we went out for coffee nearby, and I've spent $3000-- I took her sailing for a week. It all depends on the person, the situation, and what you want out of it.
Play it by ear, but don't spend the money just to impress her. Spend it because you want to do something expensive and it'd be nice to have her come along.

depends on how serious i am about the girl and how promising the relationship seems. If its a serious situation, its well worth a couple hundred. Ive taken girls to casinos and spent a grand on a first date, it happens, just see how the night goes I guess.

No dont spend that much on a first date. What if its a total bomb? Just do something casual and if you have a good time then go up form there.

You only get one first impression. It's not how much you spend but how you spend it that matters. Maybe some flowers, nice dinner, find out what she likes that will show that you really care about her. Good luck

I have had dates that have spent more than $100, just so that I don't get any sarcastic comments..our dinner was more than $100 because I love to eat fine cuisine.

That may be why you are a level four...you can't get to the second date because you are cheap.
So, you are talking about how much to pay for prostitutes. LOL

Sure, but don't try to impress her as the last of the big time spenders. Go easy and see how it goes.

Yes, but if and only if I were totally infatuated. Hasn't happened yet, but maybe the thunderbolt will strike...
Good luck.
