washing your hair every day will strip all the natural oils and make it dry. wash w/ shampoo and conditioner every other day at the most. if your hair feels sweaty after the gym, try just rinsing with water.
if you have curly hair, it's best to only wash once a week - just use a little conditioner in between.

Whatever you do stop. I wish I had stopped earlier. Now, I have this dandruff because of it. And now, my hair is all dry and falling out. But it's getting better. It might be a little hard to stop washing everyday since you have the habit of it.
If you go to the gym, make sure you wash every other day. In other words, wash every 3 days. If you're going to use a deep cleansing shampoo, wash every week. If you don't, then use regular shampoo and wash every 3 days.
Extras: Judging by your black hair, eat more black sesame and seaweed. It keeps your hair shiny and healthy.

Washing your hair every day gets rid of oil, including the kind that your hair needs. So since you go to the gym a lot and end up with sweaty hair, wash it every other day.

hi there, i go to the gym everyday too and my hair gets really really sweaty. what i do is i keep it tied up in a pony tail and try and wash it on every third day unless i've to attend any social events. washing it too much will dry out the scalp of its natural oils and make the hair frizzy and dry. also once a week i oil my hair and make a plait. this not only gives me a neat look, it also conditions my hair and leaves them healthy and glossy. maybe u can try it too.

yeah, overwashing is bad for ur hair it may get brittle or extremely dry. try washing about 2 or 3 times per week if its very bad, but use a shampoo that will not strip all the moisture from your hair, and use a good moisturizing conditioner to back it up.

It's the shampoos and conditioners that rob your hair of oils and nutrients. You could wash your hair every other day, but still rinse it after you work out.

Dont wash it everyday!!If u're goin 2 gym, tie it up and dont handle it too much!it'll get oily. Wash it every second day or ur scalp will dry out n u'll get dandruff n u're hair will get damaged from all the products n probably lose its shine!
