I have nver thought of that. But it is a vegtable. That is really cool! But I would call it a junk food vegtable.

Yes you are right, popcorn is made from dried corn kernels. Like rice krispies are made with rice - amazing eh!
Popcorn is a healthy snack, providing you don't put too much salt of butter on it.

As popcorn comes from corn, which is a vegetable, it is a vegetable. It doesn't have a lot of nutritional value, but it is a veggie!

Popcorn...is made from corn which is a vegetable however popcorn is saturated in butter so even though it is a "cooked" vegetable it still isnt healthly!

Popcorn is actually a seed, and turns inside out when it pops to about 4 times it's size, from the seed inside it. sorry, not a vegie.

Popcorn is corn, or maize, which is actually a cereal not a vegetable. It's still good for you I suppose, though I don't care for it myself.

popcorn is made from corn kennels. corn is a vegatable, and pop corn is not, although if you put a lot of butter or sweeten it, it is kind of fattening. so watch the calories!
