I have a nieghbor who is only 38 years old. Drinks a case of beer a day. His stomach is like he is carring twins. About a month ago or 6 weeks now. he has gone into the hospital by ambulance. They kept him (1) week and they discharged him. He said they drained about 7-8 liters of fluid from his stomach. When he came home he was drinking non- alcohol beer for about a week. Now he is back to getting a case a day again. He just went into the hospital the other day, and all they do is drain him. And then they send him home. How come a hospital lets someone go home, when to me - ( I'm not a Doctor) its got to be his liver or kidneys or both that is doing this. He is taking on water.. When is this hospital going to tell him thats it? And why don't they keep him, and drain all the fluid out? Right now as i type this he is drinking, and will drink until he doses off on the couch and then only to wake up and crab his beer and continue to drink !! Positive answers please..
