An undergraduate degree is earned at a college or university. It is usually a 2 year degree (Associate) or a 4 year degree (Bachelor's).
This is a different "degree" from a Graduate Degree- which is a Master's Degree (usually takes about 2 years to earn). A Graduate Degree can also be a J.D. (Juris Doctor) which is a law degree (takes between 3-4 years to earn).
A medical degree also may be considered a Graduate Degree.
All of these are "advanced" degrees because the student goes beyond the 4 year degree to earn an additional degree- a higher level of education which is often more difficult and challenging than the undergraduate degrees.
I hope this information helps you.

It means about a 30% higher income than a person without a baccalaureate (B.A., B.S.) degree. I'm not certain of the percentage in an associates degree, but I would think it's also somewhat higher than the people without any degree.
If you're even slightly a person who would rather be a thinker and a planner in a job, you'll want to get a 4 year degree. If you wouldn't mind being a drone, doing the same stuff everyday, year after year, then don't bother getting a degree. You'll probably be able to stay a smidge or two above the poverty line.
Plan on going to college for a 4 year degree, it's now considered the basic education requirement for jobs in the USA these days.
Peace.

An undergraduate degree is a bachelor's degree. Some people chose to start by getting an associate's degree from the local community collge, then going to a university to obtain the bachelor's. After you have gotten your bachelor's degree, the next level is the masters, then the PHD.

A degree is a credential that is offered at a university (and some community colleges), and it is normally 4 years in length following 12 years of secondary education. Some undergraduate degees are 3 years in length, and some can stretch to 5 years if co-op work terms are integrated into the curriculum. When a student graduates, she receives a bachelor's degree from the faculty she studied in (e.g. Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Independent Studies, Bachelor of Applied Sciences).

It can be an associate degree which is two years of college full time. It also can be a four year degree called a bachelors degree. These degrees mean a student has completed the course requirements at passing level that make up the degree requirements. Each school's degree programs are evaluated by a licensing board organized by the government according to laws. The board gives the school permission to provide these degrees.

it means ' under graduate
under graduate school . When you are in Graduate School you have a Bachelors Degree - you have to complete it before Graduate School in order to get in there - you are doing your undergraduate degree under or before graduate school that is why it is an UNDER Graduate and not a Graduate - it is less than a graduate degree so it is under it

You are considered "graduate" once you have a bachelor's degree. Everything up until that point is "undergraduate" and once you have the bachelor's, everything after that is "post-graduate".
