Recently, he's just started joking in the most weirdest way!

We were talking about me being married in the far future - i havent actually got anyone to marry atm lol!
And then suddenly my friend comes out with the joke that i'd be marrying him! o.O
Usually if anything of this sort ever came up, he would be in a fit of laughter, but today, he brought this subject up himself!
I mean, according to what he has ever said to me, he'd never be with a girl like me, but now he's acting like that....

Also, i have other male friends and i was talking about them to him, and he said that he didnt want to talk about them because he was getting jealous LOL!

He was saying all this in a very joky casual way but im starting to think there must be a reason for this sudden change in the way he talks to me

Is this some kind of weird twisted joke or is he trying to convey something to me? I do have a smidgen of feelings for him - got to admit!

speaking from a blokes point of view .... it sounds like he has fancied you for some time but is worried that you would reject him in love.

i have been in the same situation (years ago mind you) and i decided that i would rather have that person as a really good friend than ruin any chance of friendship by trying to date them.

we still are friends.

if you like this guy enough why not just ask him if that is the case.
if he is a good enough friend he should not be offended if you are wrong.

Well to me that sounds like he wants more than friendship, maybe you need to ask him straight out, as assuming that is what he wants, you may be way off base................but sounds as if he would like more from you, so you need to sit down and think about, if you really wont a relationship with him,or stay as a friend. good luck

bring this subject up to him....ask him what he's saying....be straight with him, tell him you want to know what he's saying and if he means any of it....if you have smidgeon of feelings for him, maybe you both should get together, i had just a smidgeon of feelings for my partner when i first met him and we have been together for 10 years now....just ask him outright you may be surprised

You had better find out how this guy REALLY feels about you. It's better to clear the air sooner than later.
