Your best bet is to buy an inexpensive copy off ebay:

This way you have the CD's if you have any problems in the future and you can reload it.

There is a totally free Office program that is compatible with all of the other Office Suite programs. It is called OpenOffice.Org, the version is 2.0.3. It is open source, meaning that product upgrades can be submitted for consideration by the general public. The version available at this link is fully tested and should fulfill all of your needs, including spreadsheet.

Yes you will have to download a P2P program first though, like ARES, or EDONKEY, then you can search and download MS Word or MS-office any version for free

You can buy it cheap at ebay auctions..... Open Office is Cheaper, you can own one for about 5 bucks and works like Microsoft Office...

You can get a less expensive older version on ebay.

OR .. you can go to http://www.openoffice.org and get a free copy of open office, will do all you need to.
