I would say your agnostic. You don't believe there is enough evidence that there is a God but something is driving you to believe in these spiritual things. And agnostics are just on that brink of not knowing but are sure of the fact they don't know.
My personal belief is there is a God because in my life there is evidence of Him.

you believe in a higher power, that means weather or not you believe in God you have grasped the concept that you are not God. I believe that we are not humans having spiritual experiences but rather spirits having a human experience.
I think you should keep on the open minded path you are on. We don't have to get it all at once we have a lifetime.First Help others do good works and if you can do them without bragging. THAT'S as spiritual as it gets. then Read the Hindu scriptures read the Buddhist scriptures Read the Koran Read the Bible. Read the works of the saints St Francis Thomas Merton mother Teresa Gandhi read a little each day about spiritual things
Study how the Quakers lived and worked any one who was on the path and got the results of peace in there own lives. keep on the path and Your Higher power will reveal itself to you take the truth and leave the rest.
Most importantly Never say never keep an open mind and an open heart and when the student is ready the teacher will appear to you.
Most importanly dont put God in a box and dont put yourself in a box unless you find peace in that box. then jump in with both feet and seek it like a man who's hair is on fire seeks a pond.

I would say you might want to look into Buddhism. In simple terms, they believe that when you die, you get reincarnated into another form. The way you led your life determines what form you take in your next life. For example, if you were stingy with your wealth, you may be reborn as a pauper so you can learn what it is like to have nothing, but if you were poor and shared your limited wealth with others, you may be reborn as a wealthy person. The ultimate goal is to attain perfect wisdom, at which point you will transcend to a higher form of being. They revere Buddha, but not as a god, more like a role model, since he was the first one to achieve transcendence (i think?). There are some crazies in buddhism, just like every other religion, but most of them are pretty well centered.

Well firstly, atheism isn't a religion. It's simply a term to describe one's lack of belief in a god or gods. You can be an atheist and still be spiritual... as a matter of fact Buddhists are atheists. It's true that most people who call themselves atheists are not spiritual, but that doesn't make it universal. I'd say if anything you are a spiritual atheist (if you really need a label).
Why would you want to tie yourself to a specific religion? Isn't it better to hold your own beliefs and be your own person?

You may find more comfort in not labelling what you believe. How many sects exist in the label that is Christianity? And even then they keep fragmenting themselves because they differ on some trivial point. Such sophisty. And how many act the way that they hope you believe they do? Maybe, in not labelling yourself, you would feel freer to modify your beliefs as your understanding grows.
What you ask is not a stupid question, and you are not stupid. The stupidity lies in the belief that we know everything, that the belief we hold is the only true one. Anyone who bellitles your questions or your desire to grown, to learn is simply showing you their fear, their sense of inadequacy, their lack of belief in their own dogma.
When someone asks me what I believe, I just say that I'm a spiritual person, and if they insist on knowing more, I just say that I don't follow any specific doctrine or religion. I'm just really tired of religious people trying to convert me, what sems to drive most of them is fear, not love, and I don't want to be there.
Even then, I don't hold by beliefs as the truth, how can I truly know the unknowable? So my beliefs are the what are the most true to me, and I keep searching, doing my best to be a better person every day, to do good in this world. Sometimes, when I get piqued at some insistent zealot, I say I belong to "Church of Uncertainty", and leave them to ponder my blasphemy. If they ask me if I believe in god, I say yes, I believe in her. :o)

I could be wrong, but I believe agnostics have similar beliefs. I also believe you have a little belief in God because of the statement you made. It may be hidden somewhere inside you just waiting to come out. I would hope you would explore your options before you make a choice. Research the possibility of a higher power before giving up on the Lord. He wants all of us to seek Him and often gives us a hint that He is real (a feeling that we cannot deny).

Apparently you are searching, at least. I would say you are a pagan. The Bible clearly teaches there is no reincarnation. The afterlife is only in heaven and then the new earth and only after Jesus returns to take His people home with Him to heaven. The Bible indicates in Matt 24 that Jesus will be returning to take His people home with Him in the near future. It looks like maybe within our life time, and possibly within the next 20 years. Keep searching, but I can direct you to the right place. Try amazingfacts.org.

In a sense, you are kind of an agnostic - not a believer in God but a believer in "something out there - just not sure what". I always say to agnostics (I'm not being unkind), get off the fence. Either be a believer or be an unbeliever as it is more or less like being pregnant, either you are or you're not - and there is a lot at stake if there is a God. If there is (and I believe there is), he will not have grace or pity on an agnostic as they did not accept his perfect gift of his perfect son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who willingly came to earth leaving his heavenly position and temporarily becoming a man to die a terrible death to ransom us so we could be restored to our pre-Adam and Eve existance and have a perfect life forever. What's not to like.

Hindu. They believe in reincarnation, and are a monotheistic religion. They believe their god is omnipresent, and that each human being carries the potential to unite with the piece of Brahman (Their god) inside of them. The rest of the gods represent aspects of this one god. Its all symbolism.
Buddhists neither believe nor disbelieve in a god, as it becomes a roadblock to enlightenment and there is no evidence for either. That is why I would categorize you as a Hindu, or perhaps a Jain, though I don't know as much about them.
Stonecold: Buddha was not a god and we do NOT believe he created the universe. Common misconception.

There are only two Kingdoms one of Light, one in Darkness you are of one or lost in the other.
There is no neutral zone.
We are born in darkness without God,
Separated from Him by our very nature to do what is bad even when we think we are doing good at some point we mess up and do something wrong; white lie, cheat on test, steal something small break the law in some way, we are blinded by Satan to think these little things are ok, under his influence because we don't know any better.
Its like being in a pitch black room and someone telling you to keep going forward, not knowing any better you follow the voice and keep moving forward. But if someone else turns on a light and you see a deep pit in front of you that you where getting ready to fall into and die.
You would no longer be in the darkness but the lighted room. You would see the other person for who he really is someone who was trying to kill you by giving you false directions.
The person who turned the light on saved your life, you probably would be grateful thanking him and you would follow him out of the room from the danger, knowing he never meant to hurt you but to save you. Most likely you would hate the other person for lying to you and trying to kill you. Jesus’ Gospel is that light. It really means Good News! To the person it turns the light on for it is!
It kept Him from dieing following the wrong voice, turned on the light so to speak.
God placed His 10 commandments here for us to see the state we are in recognize that we are under Judgment. It is like a beacon of light showing us the way to go; to His Son Who is the Light and the way to salvation from this judgment that is to come. If you have ever lied even the little white ones or stolen that is taken anything without asking or buying it, you have broken the law and are to be judged for it at the Last Day.
If you believe that God doesn't want to judge you on this matter so He sent His Son to take your place. And that He also wants to be His own daughter so God brought Him back to life then you can receive this salvation, have the "Light" turned on in your life!
