You are talking about K-Calories. The general rule of thumb is, 15 calories per pound of body weight per day. If you weigh, let's say, 100 pounds, then that is 15 calories times 100 pounds or 1,500 calories a day. At your weight of 106 pounds, your intake should be 15 times 106 or 1590 calories per day.

For adult females - Multiply body weight by 10; add the body weight to this value.
[i.e., for a 120 lb female, 1,200 + 120=1,320 cal/day BMR]
