Both of my girls are out of wedlock and here in AZ the mother has a choice whether or not to put the father's name on the birth certificate. Which of course makes the decision of whether or not the dad is responsible for the child. In my situation I have been with my fiance for 4 years and we have been engaged for two of them, we live together and he takes care of both of our girls. I have no order of child support in for him to pay he just does it. But in a lot of cases the father doesn't want to take care of the child and then the mother can put in for child support and the father will have to pay even if he signs his rights away as long as the child isn't adopted by another man the father is still responsible.

if the father is not around and is a deadbeat, and the mother gets help from the state than yes he will be charged for support. he can also contest that the child is not his and demand a blood test. when it comes back that it is his he will have to pay for the blood test and the court coast and the back childsapport. now if the father is living with the mother and taking care of the baby he will not be charged. but if you are not living in the house and are taking care of the baby and helping out and buying things you would probably want to be on childsupport any way seeing as everything you buy wont have any affect on how much you owe if the mother or the state come after you for sapport. i have put 2 deadbeats away for a long time. i know the laws for all of the states by heart. it is sad but there are so many deadbeat dads out there that the state is really starting to crack down. what state are you talking about, i can tell you what you should do.

If she is receiving state aid, they will ask who the father is. If she provides the name and the father does not live with her, they will proceed with a child support order. She can choose to put the fathers name on the birth certificate if she wants, or she can leave it blank.
If the father gives the mother money for the support of his children but does not reside with the mother, it would be in his best interest to contact the child support agency to get a support order established. Why? Because there is the possibility that the mother can, years later, file for child support and the agency will count back to the date of birth as owed child support. Plus, the mother can lie and say that she never received any money from the father and, unless the father has proof of support in the form of canceled check, he's out of luck.

From a friend of mine who has gone thru this-she had to have the father take a paternity test. Then go to court-and they decide. Because we did not live together at the time, child support was established. If you live together, there is no child support because you are both supporting the child. Each state has their own rules and regulations on this matter. Suggest you seek legal advice on this.

It depends on the state. If I remember correctly, a biological father is not expected to pay child support unless the mother takes him to court to have it set up. But if the father is already supporting his child(ren) financially and emotionally, then that's great! If the mom and dad can work out a financial agreement without bring the court system into it...that's fabulous!

wait are you asking if the father of your child that is living with you should pay child support? That's a strange question? Child support is normally from the parent married or not married that is NOT living with the child, and it is best that it be court calculated and ordered.

The only way a women can but a man on child support is if she files for it. If your being a great dad and you live with her and supporting the family, she has no reason to file for child support.. Child support is for dead beat dads, who do not want to take care of there responsibilities....

No, the newborn does not ought to have the fathers final call. in case you reside interior the U. S., then if he needs to combat you approximately paternity, then newborn help Enforcement will require that he take a attempt, and if he's the daddy, he will ought to pay for it additionally. If he does not dispute the undeniable fact that he's the daddy, then no longer something will ensue, and he would be required to pay. I wish that i could have given my daughter my final call as quickly as I gave beginning, her dad became out to be a loser, now i do no longer prefer to alter her call b/c she is 5, and already is conscious her final call as her dad's final call. wish i could have carried out what you probably did! stable decision!
