your statements dont apply to all believers in G-d.

"1. Us Atheists believe in ourselves enough to not believe in God and not be intimidated by the hell myth.. We know we're right"

judaism doesnt believe in hell. neither do many other religions. so how could it intimidate us? most religions out there are about taking responsibility for yourself AND OTHERS TOO to try and make the world better. we believe thats a human responsibility, not G-ds responsibility, just as atheists do.

"2. God believers would rather play the better safe than sorry game. They often say, "if im wrong, I have nothing to lose". They dont know if they're right so they just play it safe"

like i said, we dont believe in hell. and we dont think, "if i am wrong, i have nothing to lose." thats stupid. anybody who thinks that doesnt really believe in G-d in the first place. we follow the religion we are because we think its meaningful, not because we are "afraid" not to.

"3. Us Atheists feel that we can do just fine depending on ourselves"

so do we. so does everybody, unless they have self esteem issues, and thats not the fault of their religion.

"4. Most God believers feel that they're lost without a Skydaddy"

don't tell us how we feel. everybody who believes in G-d knows perfectly well nothing would change if there were no G-d. the world would run as smoothly as it always has. we dont depend on G-d, we THANK G-d. there is a difference.

Do you believe in life after death? no I guess. This is a big incentive for God believers to work hard and to do good things. Actually the idea of no life after death means that criminals like Bush and his likes will die rich and wealthy and the poor people suffering from civil wars and famines in Africa will never get a compensation..the only fair situation is when there is another life after death where good people take what they deserve and the evil guys take their punishment...imagin a world without religion at all..how many criminals will be out there? I don't say religion totally prevents crimes but at least reduces it....

Another point:
You don't see God , does this mean God is not there? The microscopic bacterium doesn't understand that it's actually attacking a human being who is suffering from infection because it's not sane and can't realize that.It only feels the surrounding environment of blood, cells, nutrients, humidity, temperature..this is all what it can realize according to it's abilities..but this doesn't mean human is not there.
Now you when comparing yourself to the creator of this universe you are smaller than this bacterium when compared to you...then how do you will to think of directly seeing him or feeling him?
You can see his creation everywhere and in your own body..Isn't that enough?
Who created God?
Good question. The answer:God is the creator of time and space so nothing comes before him or after him..he was always present and he is the only eternal...he is the source of all energy and wisdom, light and dark, mercy and strength.....God was always there and he created everything
My point in few words is: You shouldn't try to measure God with your measures because neither your knowledge nor wisdom is enough to understand how great he is..you don't even understand how your own brain thinks and generates your own thoughts!

Yeah, it relatively is sort of a difficulty. there is an previous philosophical concept called "Pascal's guess," which relatively states that in case you do no longer have confidence in God, you danger going to Hell, yet once you do have confidence in God (or a minimum of act as in case you do), you will the two be rewarded with Heaven or journey the comparable oblivion upon dying as a nonbeliever would. of course the project with it relatively is that the the two-or matrix thoroughly breaks down once you upload contained in the belief of better than one faith. once you have 30,000 different theory structures and dieties to choose for between, unexpectedly being an atheist is not extra risky than the different selection (properly, perhaps a sprint extra, considering maximum religions have confidence that members of comparable religions would additionally pass to Heaven).

1. You do not know that you are right. Where is your absolute proof?

2. The Bible is true. Those that believe the Bible do know the Truth. It is a FACT.

3. Your feelings are a poor guide. Like a blind man in a tornadoe.

4. Being lost has nothing to do with feelings.

5. Squirm, godless liberals, squirm.

According to the Christian religion, man is nothing but a pathetic worm (see Job), and without the "grace of God" we cannot accomplish anything worthwhile at all. Atheists, as well as people who follow atheistic philosophies such as Buddhism or Satanism, believe that human beings are fundamentally capable, and that we don't need invisible father figures in the sky.

I don't play the "better safe than sorry" card. I truly believe in the Lord. I have felt His presence many times - a presence I simply cannot describe to someone who hasn't experienced it. God knows our hearts, so we cannot fake our believe. I am not lost without the Lord. I am who I am because of the Lord. I am not intimidated by the reality of hell. I know I will enter the kingdom of heaven. If you are so confident in your belief, why do you seem so intent on disproving God? Are you still trying to talk yourself out of believing in Him? You have made your choice and I have made mine. Accept your choice and allow me to have mine.

Smart guy - you answered your own question, good for you!!!

But we God believers know that He is more perfect than we are because He tell us there is not enough righteousness in us to please Him, and He ought to know because He created us.

God's Gospel:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

From "Orthodoxy," by G. K. Chesterton (Hanwell is a mental institution):

"Thoroughly worldly people never understand even the world; they rely altogether on a few cynical maxims which are not true. Once I remember walking with a prosperous publisher, who made a remark which I had often heard before; it is, indeed, almost a motto of the modern world. Yet I had heard it once too often, and I saw suddenly that there was nothing in it. The publisher said of somebody, 'That man will get on; he believes in himself.' And I remember that as I lifted my head to listen, my eye caught an omnibus on which was written 'Hanwell.' I said to him, 'Shall I tell you where the men are who believe most in themselves? For I can tell you. I know of men who believe in themselves more colossally than Napoleon or Caesar. I know where flames the fixed star of certainty and success. I can guide you to the thrones of the Super-men. The men who really believe in themselves are all in lunatic asylums.' He said mildly that there were a good many men after all who believed in themselves and who were not in lunatic asylums. 'Yes, there are,' I retorted, 'and you of all men ought to know them. That drunken poet from whom you would not take a dreary tragedy, he believed in himself. That elderly minister with an epic from whom you were hiding in a back room, he believed in himself. If you consulted your business experience instead of your ugly individualistic philosophy, you would know that believing in himself is one of the commonest signs of a rotter. Actors who can't act believe in themselves; and debtors who won't pay. It would be much truer to say that a man will certainly fail, because he believes in himself. Complete self-confidence is not merely a sin; complete self-confidence is a weakness. Believing utterly in one's self is a hysterical and superstitious belief like believing in Joanna Southcote: the man who has it has "Hanwell" written on his face as plain as it is written on that omnibus.' And to all this my friend the publisher made this very deep and effective reply, 'Well, if a man is not to believe in himself, in what is he to believe?' After a long pause I replied, 'I will go home and write a book in answer to that question.' This is the book that I have written in answer to it."
