No egg whites, honey, milk, chocolate, or strawberries until your child is 1.

No peanut butter either, although pediatricians seem to disagree about when to introduce it.

Other than that, your baby can eat anything you can.

Fruits, veggies, meats, grains...go for it. The more interesting tastes and textures you can introduce now, the more adventurous of an eater your child will be later.

If your baby isn't used to feeding him/herself, make sure that you cook things very soft, and cut anything that can't be made soft (like cheese, for example) small.

in response to what faby 3 said you shouldn't feed an infant honey.
Honey should not be fed to infants younger than 1 year old. Clostridium bacteria that cause infant botulism usually thrive in soil and dust. However, they can also contaminate certain foods - honey in particular. Infant botulism occurs in children 6 months of age or younger and can cause muscle weakness, with signs like poor sucking, a weak cry, constipation, and an overall decreased muscle tone (floppiness). Parents can reduce the risk of infant botulism by not introducing honey into their child's diet until after the first birthday.
