first...you need to get on a team (6 people). I'll give you the basics but I won't go into detail.
Serving: Throw the ball up about 2 feet, cock your arm back, and hit it over (not straight up.)
Pass (aka bump): STAY LOW (make sure you can always touch the ground without your butt in the air or bending your back). Use your legs, not your arms...when you pass it push up with your legs in a forward motion. DO NOT swing your arms (it'll go straight up). Make sure that your hips, feet, and shoulders are facing your target and BEFORE you hit the ball have your feet set. Stay on the balls of your feet. The closer you are to the net, the higher your platform (arms).
Set: Set your feet! Be right underneath the ball! Only touch it with your thumbs, index, and middle fingers. Push up with your legs, not arms. Keeps your fingers and wrists relaxed not tight (otherwise it'll spin too much). Face where you want it to go. Control your power.
Spike: Always make sure you have a strong approach! Go to the 10 foot line, and open your hips to your setter. Wait for the ball to be up in the air before you start going (otherwise you might go to the wrong spot cuz usually the set is not set right to you). Take a big step with your left foot, put your arms way back and get low. Take a smaller step with your right foot while swinging arms forward. Bring up your left foot next to your right and jump STRAIGHT up. As you're jumping take your left armand locate the bal (point towards it). As you're doing that take your right arm back. As you clear your locater hit the ball while crunching your abs and swing through.
Those are just the basic 1, 2, 3 steps to volleyball. There is also blocking, shooting, tapping, tipping, quicks, fakes, high handed passes, and stuff like that. Ask you're coach!

You gater a bunch one people and take sides between the volleyball net. One person serves the ball over the net and the other side tries to volley, spike, or serve the ball back. If it hits the ground on your side, the other team gets a point.

well you can play an actual game if you want.... but you would need 6-12 pple for that. u can also just practice by yourself or you can mess around and just see how long you can keep the ball going in the air. you can do a variety of things. if u need to know what to do to play like how to bump how to set........ etc. then i would ask someone or try to find out how on the net. i can give you some advice. when you bump the ball ur rite hand ovr the left one (palms facing u and hands open) and then you put your thumbs together in the middle. then wat u do is you point your thumbs down and then bend with your knees and come up to hit it making sure your not swinging your arms. well ya.... thats bumping

okay there are six people on each side of the court two in the back three in the front and one who sets that moves around a bit. One of the ones in the back (or the setter ) will serve.... one the other side they try to bump set spike the ball... you cant touch the ball twice in a row and it cant be hit more than three times on one side. you try to make it so the other team cant hit it back and make sure you hit it inside the lines.... its really simple
