I was born in Canada but moved to Portugal when was 2. I then returned back to Canada when I was 5. I have papers and stuff saying I lived there, I even have a house. I was told that since I lived there I can move anywhere in Europe, and since Im looking into moving the the UK this might help me out. Even if anyone has any ideas that might help me in the long run I would forever be greatful. Thanks a bunch

Consider it the United States of Europe, only its called the European Union and Great Britian is a member, just not of their "monetary system."

This has made it MUCH simpler to get through the borders of europes countries for Europeans, but its the same for everyone else! : )

according to my sources yes if you lived there before you can go to any affiliated country within their borders but where ever you go always go first to their governing embasy's and check with them for the real deal on info.As much has changed due to civil unrest with terrorisim.
