I asked if 'pro-lifers' ate meat & most of them don't realize that meat starts out as babies too. So the next time you no-choicers are munching down, remember that baby calf trying to stand on its own 2 legs. They also forget that we are animals too. There are other ways to get amino acids. If you don't understand a question, you truly exhibit ignorance by condemning it.

Another question could be: who killed the first animals. That answer is in Genesis. After God saw that Adam and Eve had sinned and they now knew they were naked, God killed the first animals for skins for them to wear as a covering. So our sin actually caused the death of the first animals. Anyway, when the Jewish nation was formed, God required that the first unblemished lamb be killed as a sacrifice (an example of the coming death of the perfect lamb Christ) and the priests were allowed to eat the meat after the sacrifice. But at what date man started eating meat, I don't know. Will have to check that out. But in meantime, in the New Testament, the apostles did not criticize the eating of meat and I don't see anywhere that it is considered a sin. I personally don't like to eat it for health reasons.

Their perfect original bodies were designed to eat only plants and fruit and seeds as that is the best diet for humans. I am not sure when meat became part of their diet. Was if before the flood or after? Eitherway, and their life span changed from living for ever to living about 1000 years to shortly after the flood living less than 200 years. Now our life span is no more than 120 years and mostly less then 100. If you want to shorten your life eat more meat.

Adam and Eve did not eat meat. People did not eat meat until after the deluge, then God said it was alright to eat it. Genesis 9:2,3,4
