is he into me or just plain desperate??!?

ok so this guy rides my friends bus n we were talking over AIM 1 night n he was all flirting n stuff n then we were talking on the second day n he asked me out. i mean he never saw me n i never saw him n weve only talked for 2 days so is he despereate or does he really like me? i dont no him that well so i said i dont no n that we should get to no each pther more. but now it seems like i like him n it has only been 2 days that we started talking n my friend says hes nice. im gonna be 15 n hes gonna be 16 so its not a big age difference. so is he into me or just wants to have a gf? i like him but dont wanna get hurt plz help. :(
