Yes. Sounds like you need antibiotics and maybe a tetanus shot.

therez a possibility you could have an infection you should wash it with clean water evryday. if its very deep i advice you go to the doctors
Infection can develop when a wound is contaminated with dirt and bacteria. Although any wound can become infected, infection is particularly likely in deep scrapes, which grind dirt into the skin, and in puncture wounds, which introduce contamination deep under the skin. Also, wounds that contain foreign material (such as splinters, glass, or clothing fragments) almost always become infected. The longer a wound remains contaminated, the more likely it is that infection will develop.
Pain that worsens a day or more after the injury is often the first sign of infection. Later, an infected wound becomes red and swollen and may ooze pus. A fever may develop.
Although hydrogen peroxide is commonly used as a disinfectant for minor cuts and scrapes, it is actually not very effective and may even delay the healing process by irritating a person's living cells. You can use hydrogen peroxide but apply it around the open wound, not directly to it. An antibiotic ointment such as Neosporin is a better alternative - it will keep the wound from getting infected and speed up the healing process.
Dress the wound with a bandage or sterile gauze to keep dirt and bacteria out. Change the dressing frequently and rinse the wound as often as necessary to keep it free of dirt.
Continue to monitor the wound for several days. If the injured area turns red or puffy, or if excessive pain persists, then it may've become infected and will require a physician's attention. Do not simply dismiss cuts as minor injuries as some may be quite serious if not tended to by a professional. If the wound is very deep or the bleeding is profuse, it may require stitches in order to heal properly.

yes it is infected...
wash the wound well with mild soap and water (ivory or dove work best). if you use things with dyes or perfumes, you can irritate the wound more...
you need to make an appointment to see your doctor within twenty four hours to get some antibiotics to kill the infection.
in the meantime, pour a small amount of hydrogen peroxide over the wound twice a day. after doing this, apply a thin layer of neopsorin to it and cover it with gauze wrap. this will help prevent further germs from entering the wound and help to fight the ones already present.
you can take ibuprofen for pain and swelling. take 200-400mg every 6 hours but no more than 1200mg in 24 hours.
report to the emergency room immediately if:
-you develop a fever of 101.0 or higher
-you see red lines extending from your hand up your arm (this indicated infection has entered your bloodstream and you'l need i.v antibiotics asap)
-you start to feel dizzy or lightheaded
-you become confused or can't remember things
these are all signs that the infection has worsened and spread to the rest of your body and you need treatment immediately.

If it's infected it will be really red on the outer section of the cut. Sort of a red halo. The green could be bruising, like when it turns colors with a black eye.

Jeepers! That sounds bad. You probably should have gone for stitches at the time of the cut.
Anyway, yes, it does sound infected. You should definitely go to a doctor or medical clinic before it gets worse.
