i'm only paying because I don't want to get fined but lets be honest Brit tv is shite and Friends/Simpsons have been repeated to death.Just watching tonights TV and there is nothing on I honestly think that people have run out of ideas BB is dying on its **** and now that the winter is coming in it is not something I am looking forward to.
Seems like i am just paying for June Sarpong/Sara Cox to go to premiers and get pissed!!!!!

If you feel that way then just get rid of your TV.
Then you don't have to pay the licence fee. Simple, really.
I can't comment about the current state of British TV as I do not have a receiver.

the programmes they show in this country are absolute shite. my 20 year old brother could come up with better stuff than the crap we've the misfortune of being shoved in our faces. let's face it: the tv licence, as i said it before, is a rotten con and should be abolished. just like the majority of the programmes on tv today.

Yes it's complete rubbish, I watch nothing. Put adverts on the Beeb, (I think wer'e used to them by now!) Why should we pay the B.B.C. for what we pay for on Sky. Just another TAX.....

Don't watch it if it sucks. I didn't know you had to pay a licence to watch tv. There is usually not much on that I want to watch, rent some DVD's and watch what you want to watch.
