First the etymology of 'prod'
1535, "to poke with a stick," possibly a variant of brod, from M.E. brodden "to goad," from O.N. broddr "shaft, spike" or perhaps onomatopoeic.
Many years ago my chiropractor told me, "If you want to become a Master, act like a Master." It seemed rather fake to me at first but as time passed it began to make more sense. So, yes, I think it is very possible to become what we choose to become by applying attention to that and putting energy into it. Why not?

We already do make our "reality" based on our focus...simply put, we get what we focus on the most.
