How did the crocodile hunter die that is so sad?

He died from a Bull Sting Ray. What Steve did was swim on top of the Ray and the animal felt threaten and shot a poisonous barb through his ribcage to his heart. But that's not what killed him, what killed him was when he pulled out the poisonous barb, and it ripped a hole in his heart and he went into shock. That's what killed him. He shouldn't pulled it out, because there was already a small hole in his heart. The experts say that, that was a very rare killing only three exist in the world. What he should have done was got out of the water and poured warm water on it and seek medical attention immediately.

Steve Irwin died from a string rays barb going into his heart. He pulled it out before he died though. The scary thing was that he was a professional, and amateurs swim with rays all the time. He was a huge activist for wildlife in Australia, and the people there are apparently very upset about it. He supposedly raised millions of dollars towards saving wildlife. It is so sad.

It is isn't it!! I felt so bad for his family! He was hit by a sting ray in the chest, they had the actual footage on CNN. His wife was hiking at the time and they had to go and find her. You know that that's the way he would have like to have left this earth though. Not as soon as he did, way to young, but I think he would have wanted no other way (I could only imagine)! Prayers for him and his family. My kids loved his shows from when he first started to now!

A giant sting ray flung it's tail and the poisonous barb pierced Steve's heart. He pulled it out, and then died.

how sad he was a very great person and had a lovely family which all of us should be praying for . his passing was a shock to me too but remember he passed doing what he loved doing to most he was stabbed in the heart by a sting ray God bless his soul he will be sadly missed

A sting ray pierced his heart. His chest was above the sting ray's tail and a sting ray's tail has a needle type thing at the end of its tial that's how it happened.
