He's not being destructive or anything, but does things he knows he's not supposed to do like jump on people, or he'll head butt the back of my legs or just run around inside and won't relax (he's generally laid back and calm). No changes lately in anything and my other dog has been acting fine. Any idea why he's acting this way? It would be so bad except he's acting like this way too much.

Maybe he just feels like he's not getting either enough attention or enough exercise. Maybe he needs mental stimulation - obedience or agility or just a game of frisbee.

You can stop him from jumping on people with a gentle knee to the chest (depending on his size, of course).

It just sounds to me like he's bored and needs something added to his life that's challenging.

Take him for slightly longer dog walks. Your dog only seems playful to me.

My pets are really playful too. and they go for long walks to get plenty of exercise and to have FUN.
