Don't eat, the body needs its strength to fight infection. Drink weak tea, lots of water, gingerale, but not ice-cold, broths, if you aren't a vegetarian make a chicken bouillon broth with some garlic in it or have some vegetable soup broth. Garlic is an antiseptic and is so good for infections, chew ice chips if you feel like chewing but don't feel like drinking too much. Ginger tea is supposed to soothe nausea, just steep some ginger in hot water, sweeten it with honey if you like, and sip it slowly. If you feel that you might have food poisoning go to the e.r. Pepto should help soothe your tummy if you are nauseated and have diarrhea. Get into bed and don't wear yourself out. Hope you feel better soon.

When my kids or I have a stomach virus we drink alot of broth (chicken or beef) and drink alot of gatorade and ginger ale. If your vomiting don't try to eat anything but maybe some saltine crakers, if you can hold them down. then eat foods like bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. and gradualy get to the more solid foods.
