Yikes, wow, I don't even think to use sarcasm, it just comes out and I never knew everyone would be so mad and want to beat me if I were their kid! Thanks for the help though, I appreciate it :)

Ah, yes. There ARE some really good, and very humorous answers to that question. I tend to go with the old and the wise (particularly fond of GARY A's answer-old woman scares me). Do NOT turn your parents into "the law" because you were being a brat and got reprimanded. Child Abuse *became* an issue when I was growing up and my mom still found it prudent to pull me out the car and slam me against it (with my friend inside about to crap her pants) for staying out all night and not telling her where I was when I was 17. Was I "abused"? Not in the least. Did I respect the people who were authoritative in my upbringing? Yes. Did they earn and deserve it? Definitely. Has it strengthened my relationship with them as an adult? Again, Yes.
Stop sassing off to your parents. These are the people that brought you into this world and have raised you. Would YOU want a shithead for a kid?
