Chop off your feet.

Seriously, always make sure that your feet are dry before putting on socks and shoes and change your socks at least once a day. All the ointments, sprays and powders out there are just a quick fix. If you take the extra time to make sure your feet are dry, you shouldn't have nearly as much problem. If your feet sweat quite a bit, you might want to use one of the powders to absorb the moisture.

I know this sounds gross but an old army field trick is to urinate on your feet while in shower. This WILL keep the athletes feet away, also, be sure feet are dry before putting on socks and shoes.
