Completely ridiculous! It sounds like he has a serious lack of confidence. Perhaps try talking about your favorite celebs less around him, though. Guys don't like to be changed, and it sounds like one small thing the two of you will never agree on. Save the celebs for you and your girls to talk aobut, and talk about something else with your guy. Build up his confidence... he really should get over it, though.

Both.
He is jealous because his gf expends more time on the celebrity than on him. Also, makes him feel inadequate and that he cannot live up to celebrity. In the end, although normal, it is also ridiculous because fantasy cannot compete with reality.

that depends on how his girlfriend acts regarding her celebrity crush. Do you hurt his feelings by making comparisons? Do you tell him you'd leave him for the celebrity if given the opportunity? Do you spend a lot of your time together talking about a celebrity crush?
What is ridiculous is knowing that your actions are hurting someone you love and care about and continuing the behavior. I mean, is this crush really that important to you? If you have to give up something important, or every little thing you like to please him, it's ridiculous. If he's great in every other way but needs you to give up this one little thing, give it up. In love there is always compromise.

Its normal for anyone to be jealous of someone his/her mate finds appealing in some way or fashion its intimidating to them to think that they are not good enough or that there is something missing. Whether it is someone on t.v. or someone walking down the street.
If you know your man has an issue with this, talk to him his self-esteem could be pretty low don't make it worse by making him feel bad. No one wants to compete for the one they love.
Let him know how you feel about him and make him feel special.
Be patient. I pretty sure you probably get a little tense if he looks at someone longer than he should. Whether your self-esteem is through the roof.
Best regards.

damn girl that man is down right stupid i mean like u are ever gonna meet the celebrities and even if u did like anything would happen so what is there to be jealous of now i could see if it was one of your close guy friends or something that u liked and hung out with all the time but otherwise he is overly controlling and you so need to ditch the loser.

MY best friend is head over heels for Johnny Depp. Some times it's a blow to the ego when she starts drooling with non-stop chattering about the guy. I believe it's possible to really like and enjoy a celebrity's persona/work/image without ailenating your friends around you...if you are overbearing with your STAR-admiration you might be hard to be around.
I have a huge crush on Penelope Cruz, does my friend know about it?....nope.

Yes, its normal. That means he really loves you. He is jealous that you're looking to other guys than him. And he wants you to only notice him and not any other celebrities.

as long as you dont collect their hair or anything! if your like for celebrities is healthy then its ok that your bf is jealous. make sure you know where your priorities lie and your bf is aware of this. look at it this way, its better that hes jealous of someone that you might not go out with rather than some other person!
