Hi i recently lost weight but the thing is i lost a stone and got to the correct weight for my height event though i was in the bmi range for my height anyways, But i still didnt have the body i wanted even though i had got to my goal weight and was slimmer. I have put a little weight back on since but i dont really want to diet as it didnt make a difference anyway, Has anyone had this experiance or is it just a mental problem that even though i was thin i still thought nothing had worked bacause i didnt look the way i wanted. How would you say i could get the body i wanted, or how did you get the body you wanted. I mean from going fat to thin and not having much fat on you. I see so many normal people and i just want to know what they do keep the body that way.

You have to diet and exercise. When you lose weight, then sculpt and tone your muscles to get the body you want.

I have yo-yo-ed up and down with my weight most of my life. My mother was that way - and so was her mother and so on... I think alot of it is in the mind - because I have noticed from my friends and people I know who have always maintained a normal weight - they don't really agonize over their weight very much - nor are they diet focused or battling any forms of eating disorders or abusing laxatives or using any other such drugs to lose weight.
I personally battled anorexia when I was young and bulemia through my 20s... And constantly was one diet after diet.. It was miserable... I started to get to a mental freedom that has freed me from what I call Diet-Mentality by reading some really good books by Geneen Roth. She teaches people with obsessions with their weight, diet, or if they have eating disorders to think like a normal person and maintain a normal weight. If you think you may have Diet-Mentality and are miserable, you probably can try her books out for free at your local library... I hope this is a help for you. Good luck.

The majorty of women have issues with there body, and there is not a single women in this world who is totally happy or satisfied with the way they look. The best thing you can do is eat right and exercise, Muscle weighs more than fat and also looks better. Also, green tea is excellent for speeding up your metabolism and suppressing your appetite. However, you should focus less on how your body looks and more on eating healthy and exercising.
