Do those have the same problems as ipods (poor battery life after a year, screens dying, computers not recongizing them, etc.)?
Are the features good? I currently have a dead ipod nano and the Zen looks intriguing. Do you like the Zen Vision's features and quality?

I've gotten to use it a bit. I left it charged over night on my computer-- and woke up to it being frozen.
Anyone have this problem? I pressed the reset button and it was good to go, though. I definitely love that it can be reset so easily if something goes wrong.

thanks for your comments. I'm glad it wasn't just me-- freezing on the first day. Hopefully that's the last of it. I definitely like it.
I'm having a hard time making playlists-- both on the computer and on the device. But, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it eventually. :)

I have one and love it. The learning curve on navigating on it is very small (I didn't even read the owners manual). That and it connected to all pcs and laptops without any problems was a plus. The software that came with it is very nice and easy to use as well.
Other than getting it all scratched up the first day I got it since I have a black one I have only had one problem with it. Just like you on the first charge up it froze. I reset it and haven't had a problem ever since.

I agree that the Vision:M is much better. I have seen them, but don't own one. I own another Creative player, the Zen Sleek Photo, and the sound quality (bass especially) is much better on Creative players than ipods.

I had a 20Gb ipod and a 30Gb video iPod. THEN I discovered ZEN VISION M!!! WOW THAT's a player! Million times better than any crappy ipod. Go for it. You'll be amazed!.

Zens are really good. They last longer than iPods. Even though they're not as popular as iPods, I think they're better.

yah majorly ipods are just gay and overated now. the zen vision m is so much freakin awesomer andcooler. it has more quality too/

i like ipods, but i really do believe the creatives are easier to use for any computer, and much more reliable. ive had my old one for 4 years, and it still works every day.
