Melt over VERY low heat source - cut velveeta into little squares and continually stir until melted.. do not over heat or the velveeta will scorch onto the pot.

I use a little milk to thin out the cheese. I just melt the cheese in a saucepan with the milk. I melt over low heat. If the cheese is too thick, add more milk until it reaches the desired consistancy.

over a double boiler as not to cook to much after melting point or in microwave on half power til sften stir and heat again until melted do not overcook
