my dog is jelouse of my birds but i don't treat them any dif. what should i do?

Dogs are like 2 year olds and do not understand about sharing and fairness. If possible enroll in obedience class with your dog and spend some special time together walking in the park and playing. When it is nice outside, place the bird cage on the porch and play with the dog in the yard all together.

Talk to the dog about the birds. Tell the dog how cute they are and not to scare them and that the birds are really puppies. Pretend the birds are like puppies and you and the dog are the loving parents. Reward the dog for being nice around the birds. i had the same problem too!my dog was extrmely jealous when i went to the bird cage to change food or water to the birds.the result was that my birds died as i didnt take very good care them in order not to make my dog feel jealous!
