i have microst frontpage 2003 but when i put an image into the webpage and try to move it, it wont let me move the image anywhere i want. is there a "lock" or something i can turn off to fix this problem? thanks

Creating a table and putting the graphic in custom-sized cell would probably do the trick. Alignment does have to follow certain standards in straight HTML.

Try putting in some tables and align the image that way. If you wanted to center the image, you could put it into a one row one cell table that goes all the way across the screen and center the contents of the cell and put the image in that cell.

The reason you have to do things like this is because this is the way the web works. It's not like an image program where you can put anything just where you want, it has to fit in the code.

Right-click the image and then select "picture properties" to ensure that it isn't somehow locked into place.

Remember that you're still dealing with HTML so you may have to tweak a little to get it to look exactly the way you want it to.
