people from my High School ALL the time. old friends, ppl i hardly knew. not usually teachers, but mostly friends i had when i was younger that im no longer close with. High school was a long time ago, and i dont know why, all of a sudden, im dreaming of it every night.
i also always feel 'trapped' or that i've done something wrong.
are there any really good dream decifering websites i can check out? thats what i'd really like. a good one thats not generic.
*i didnt know where to put this question... i figure its mental, so here it is*

i doubt that i miss them... most of the ppl i dream about hurt me in some way. then the others, i hardly knew, or they act very mean in my dreams
(not that everyone i went to HS with was an asshole, its just that thats how they appear in my dreams)
i feel very trapped by them and the things they say or do in my dreams, and like i need to get away from them, and i cant
why is this? when i havent seen these ppl in over 5 years?

Usually dreaming of that time in your life is symbolic of being young, or free. Maybe if high school was an unpleasant time in your life (mine was!) then it may mean something different. If you google dream interpretation, you will find LOTS of websites where you can tell all the details of your dream, and many people will evaluate it and tell you what they think it means. It's kind of like a blog. With all that input, you should get pretty good results.
Keep in mind the easiest way to interpret your own dreams is to:
1. Write them down right when you wake up, so you remember lots of details...that's what really counts. Always write down how you felt in the dream at each part of it...this is important.
2. Break down the dream...pick out important elements or symbols.
3. For each person, place, or thing, it is usually very easy to decide what that means for you...all you have to do is ask yourself: What is the first thing I think of when I think about _____?
4. Put it all together and you can do it!
For example, I once had an awful nightmare about a train accident. I thought to myself, what is the first thing I think about when I think of a train?? The answer was, suprisingly, I thought of a childhood friend who had a cousin, who had his right arm and leg cut off by a train when he was trying to jump the tracks (horrible, I know!) So once I thought of that, I realized that the night before I had watched a show about re-attaching limbs....that's why I dreamt of the train! It all comes together if you really sit down and think about it!

First of all, dreams are from your subconscious mind. In your case, you may have that dream because of something that triggered you to dream at night. It could be news, could be something came across your mind and therefore you dream. However, there is also possible explanation about your dream
high school = education, things you remember the most
feeling trapped = guilt conscience.
people no longer close in dream = self awareness
There may be something in your life that you feel guilty about or feel worried about. It could be about things you don't succeed. Therefore, you went back to your high school memory. You may think that is the place you can seek opportunities to succeed or memory to fulfill your desire. Having those people in your dream could mean that you try to have people recognized your. You want to be respected in a way that those images are symbols of strangers, and people you want them to pay attention to you. This is from your subconscious mind.
I could be wrong, but that is how I see from your dream

Dreams are really hard to interpret. We are very complex human beings. They can often symbolize your future, past, or present. And sometimes mean nothing at all, or that you are going through stress in life.
Perhaps you are currently undergoing stress that is somewhat related to your past? Or you are stressing about a major decision in life currently? Or it could mean that you are going to connect with someone from your past? Or you could have some underlying fears and situations that have never been fully resolved in your life that stem from your high school years that the Lord wants you to confront and be done with? Or it could mean absolutely nothing at all and you will eventually quit dreaming about them?

You probably miss them. did you ever break a promise? Tell them all a lie? that can provoke that kind of a dream.
