well personally i think its awful people make jokes all the time about dead people and i think its sick. hes not been dead long and they are at it already. and to ask for jokes just means hes a sad pathetic uncreative loser with nothing else better to do with his time then to ask dumb questions i just wish he would let it go and let the dead have their peace.

The guys not serious and is taken far too seriously , "remember all the Christopher Reeve jokes " he wasn't even gone yet? It doesn't make Steve a bad guy and frankly he would likely prefer everyone laughing instead of crying , and it's really not about his death it should be thought of as just another joke and left at that . I respect Steve Irwin but people need to lighten up a bit , death is a part of life and it's going to happen to us all. Many of these same people probably had less kind words for Steve when he took his baby into the crocodile pen when feeding a large one . That's just my opinion and all won't agree but none the less my opinion.

he's not just a bloke. he's much more but i won't say what. its inappropriate for a "bloke" like burt to ask such a question when a man with such a passion for nature and wildlife happens to get in an accident. when this world will find someone with his character, enthusiasm, and accent, the answer is never.

Any tragedy will prompt jokes and fast too. I had a Irwin joke hit my mail box within about 10 hours of his death. Yesterday my brother told me of a video made as a parody of his death already online.
Laughing is often a mechanism people use in uncomfortable situations including death but in this case its just sad.
The people who write these jokes obviously have quick minds to be able to come up with things so fast. It's just a shame they don't put them to better use.

so whats wrong with it, it is a perfectly good question, all the dimwits who have answered above me surely camnnoy be so stupid that they dont realise disaster is a vehicle for humour and always will be, i have heard many jokes about this subject already just as i did about nine eleven, princess diana, and a whole host of other modern tradegies, there are thousands of people who are txt ing these kind of messages to thousands of others, people telling jokes to others i am not saying its right or wrong but what i am saying is its very real its a fact of life and it does happen whenever theres a disaster or famous death humour is linked to it so get real, dont slag someone off for asking such a question when the people who have already spread such jokes are more guilty , so all you people get a life and face reality ffs

It might be in bad taste but people all over the world often deal with tragedy by using humor. Remember the "Challenger" disaster? There were a lot of sick jokes after that too.

I think he is a pathetic human being. Anyone who makes jokes about any kind of tragedy is demented and needs to get a life.
