At the age of 16 you are not an adult.
You live where ever your parent tells you to live.
If you can find a responsible adult willing to take you in ask your parents.
When my child did not want to live with me I encouraged him to "see if the grass is really greener." Too bad he never stayed away long and is still at home at the age of 26.

Well, in the State of Oregon, you can do that, but it requires that you be legally emancipated. That means you no longer require support from your parents. That entails either school, part time with a part time job or a full time job for a year or more. A proven track record at either of those regarding attendance, over all performance, etc. You then must submit a request to the Family Court for emancipation approval from a judge; providing valid and reasonable cause for the request for emancipation. You must show the court that you are self sufficient. Not an easy task at 16, but possible.

You'll have to check your State about this. In Kansas the legal age is 16, but others are 18.
