Lots of people are afraid of change. They would rather stay with something they know and hate then go to a new job that they don't know anything about. It's a fear thing. My ex was like this.

security and fear. true they piss and moan how bad the job sucks and if they had the chance to go elsewhere they would, blah blah blah. they won't. too scared. as "bad" as they have it there, the new and unknown entity that is a new job would leave them at a loss. were it for more money than anyone would jump ship and move. however, these people who whine and complain do so to vent their own personal and professional shortcomings. much easier to do this than get up and go look for another job. besides, the market being what it is, new jobs are an uncertainty. eventually though, whoever catches wind of this whining will inevitably go and snitch on this person which may force them to look for employment elsewhere.

There's only three reasons:
-They can't lose the health insurance
-their about to retire
- they are afraid to change
I refuse to listen to anyone complain about their job if they ***** longer than 1 month. After that, they need to do something about it or shut up and deal with it.

i know some people who just complain for the sake of it so they can find some common ground with everyone else. that was they can ALL complain TOGETHER and theyre all the best of friends in their mutual hatred for their job.

'Cause they're just bitches. Some people are givers and others are takers. They just like to remain in a bad situation so they have something to go home and complain about.
