Todd B pretty well sums it up! Much of what you experience has to be perception only. True Christians have an obligation to spread the word but, what you decide to do about the TRUTH is what we call "Free Will".
"Most" Christians DO NOT get into your face! What we have has not been "earned" by us but is God's grace. We are instructed to spread the "Good News", the Gospels. The choice of how to receive and act upon it is completely up to the recipient of the "Good News". It is much more comfort to me to do everything I know how to do to arrive in Heaven than to disregard the "Good News" and arrive at the "gate" and find that I have missed my reward completely.
May you one day receive God's grace and be as passionate in spreading the "Good News" as you are now rejecting it!
Saint Paul was as big a non-believer and persecutor as there has been in history but, he received God's grace and became the church's most staunch supporter! May God bless you!

Some of them really can be, but not all of them are like that. If they are true Christians then they shouldn't be prideful and arrogant.

Well, if they are "prideful" then they are sinning as pride is considered a sin, so that makes them a false Christian. I suppose that many people are arrogant irregardless of their religious affiliation.

Everyone is prideful and arrogant, even some Christians. That is why you cant blame God for what they do, because their sinners just like everyone else.

no

it is probably a number of things

sometimes when you disagree with people its a little to easy to put them down and never see any good side in them

to an extent sometimes more arrogant people are more visible and more noticible

but, to an extent, you are not looking at christians
you are looking at a caracature of christians

also, to an extent, there are many wonderful christians who quietly work and love people and do great things that are less visible

Those people aren't actually Christians, they are Christian posers. The ones who think that they are perfect and everyone else is evil. God said do not judge, less you be judged in the same manner you judge others. A lot of the "Posers" spend more time trying to disprove others faith in God than they do trying to share the Love of God. (A lot of them are Catholics)

It doesn't seem that way to me, but in any large group of people there are bound to be some. Christians aren't perfect, and some may have just become Christians, and have to change their ways over time.

Nope. It might just seem that way to you since they are happy, joyful, and content with their lives. I could see how you could misconstrue that if maybe your life wasn't as fulfilled.

I have to wonder though, how can you tell by looking at someone that they are a Christian or not?

I think they sometimes appear to be but that is because they are so confident in thier belief system they believe everything else is wrong. I think it just their faith being so strong they may come across this way.
