6.22? If you are running Windows 9x or ME (DOS-based lineage) you already got MSDOS 7 and up.
The command is "format". There are some diehard DOS fans aggregate into special sites on the web, most DOS brand other than Microsoft's is free.

go to www.microscoffed.com
you don't need any software to format your hardrive.
go to your start menu then run. type command or cmd
a black window will open.
type format c:
remember this will ERASE all your harddrive
