I'm 5'3" I weigh 140 pounds and would like to weigh 120. I've gained 25 pounds over the last 2 years. So I used to weigh 115. But I dont want to weigh that again 120 is a good weight for me. How many calories a day should I consume to lose weight? thanks

3500 calories is one pound. So you must create a deficient of 3500 calories to lose a pound. So if you burn 500 calories per workout session, and work out 6 days a week, that would be 3000 and you would have to cut back on your diet by 500 for the week and you would lose a pound or more.

roughly 3500 calories is equal to one pound I think you should eat around 1700 calories if you're trying to lose weight and do 30 mins of exercise every day
