d,

Do not be deceived. This whole "burning in Hell for eternity" thing, was invented at the Council of Nicea, in 325 A.D., and it has it's roots in Greek mythology. The new Universal Church, needed a way to scare people into obeying their beliefs. There are several pagan doctrines that were added to "Christianity", to give it a little more zip. Christmas and Easter are good examples. All of this, is nothing more than character assassination on God. What kind of sick, perverted monster, would throw His own children into a scalding lake of fire forever, for ANY reason? I don't think even Charles Manson would burn his children forever. How, are the saved, supposed to enjoy eternity, with the horrible screams of their friends and loved ones going on in the background forever? Give me a break. Only a person who has no knowledge of God, and His infinitely loving character, could fall for such poison. All of this nonsense is exactly what the Enemy had planned, when he took over the religions of men. Those who possess the Spirit of God, would never hold such a thought in their minds for even a moment. May God forgive those who contrived this tripe, and all those who have been deceived by it.

Well, that is the rumor. But then again, when Christianity began, I don't think it was all Fire and Brimstone. That came in when the Priests and Dominicans were doing pilgrimages in the 6th century, when Pagans and Christians were vying for the top spot. Who knows what hell is like, or even if it exists. I don't know anyone who has came back from the dead, so it's a crap shoot. As for what sinners, well, that would be all of us, so take your pick.

Yes, and he would throw in the sinners who have not believed that Christ is their personal Lord and Savior. If they believe that Jesus exists only after they see Him, it is too late for them.
