The Garden story is sexual metaphor.

The bible is porn and anything that isn't referring to violence is referring to sexual activities of some kind.

You can use your own imagination as to what is meant by eating the fruit of the tree as regards Eve cavorting naked with Satan.

The garden of Eden must have been incredible. we haven't a clue as to the fruit Eve bed Adam to eat. it was the other tree that we were denied after their disobedience. New proof that you are what you eat. Imagine the tree of life. To eat of it forever , No death. All matter of edible fruits and veggies. The Lion lays down with the lamb. nothing died. They could not understand death. Just as people today don't understand the second death. Separation from God forever. Adam and Eve could do anything they wished , except eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God knew that they would eat of it and that Satan would make his move.God then provided a way for some men to be saved and killed a lamb (symbolic of the Christ that would come) and covered them with the skins the blood of the Lamb.

For their sin they had to suffer the first death, Death of the flesh, but would be spared the second death.

where does the Bible say "apples"?

In a nutshell, the tree in the middle of the garden, of which Adam and Eve were forbidden to eat of it's fruit, represented the right for God to determine right from wrong as regards mankind.
When the first humans overstepped this command they not only lost everlasting life, they also lost the support of God's loving ruler ship. No longer would he intervene in the cause of sickness injury or death.
He has allowed the time ever since to prove the claim that he has the unique authority to rule and that humans are 100% incapable of self rule.
When the war of Har-Maggedon is over the earth will be returned to the condition of God's ruler ship, where no resident will live in fear, or have illness or death to cause pain nor outcry.

It's true, I haven't found anywhere in the Bible that it says the fruit was an apple. It was a simple test of loyalty and love, once they passed it, they would never have had to worry about anything again. It wasn't a hard test, I mean, they had every other kind of fruit in the garden! Can you get much simpler?

God told them not to eat from the "tree of knowledge" because it was forbidden because it will gives the knowledge of good and bad. After they ate from the tree, they became aware.

I think apples came possibly from depictions from this scene in biblical references. Kind of the same reason kids give their teachers apples because it has become representative in our society of wisdom / knowledge.

Don't get fooled - read the facts in the Bible.

the bible says fruit. the apple tradition probably sprang
p because it is a fruit most people recignize. some
scientists believe it may have been a pomegranite, but
are quick to point out that there is no evidence that
it was not a special tree that was not duplicated outside
the garden.

No one is sure what exact fruit was eaten, but people say that apples may have been something close to that fruit, because it was red and it came from a tree.

Well its a bit late in the day to ask that!
Adam and Eve is a morality tale, using symbolism and fable to point out human weakness, temptation and the unnerving ability when faced with what is right and proper and wrong and improper to invariably choose the latter. You will note that nothing has changed!
