What's the best way to do that? Should I seperate some of the red parts with foil like they do when you're getting highlights but just not put anything on those parts and dye the rest black? That's the only way I can think that would work...

Once hair is dyed black you can't really get it any other color... because it's black. So I would have to do red first... or something

If you're a natural redhead and you dye your hair black, you'll look like a corpse because your skin color is way too light to match with black hair. It's really not very attractive. Anyway, red hair is beautiful! Be happy with it!

die ur hair black then then buy red highlites and boom there u are with black hair and red streaks!

Don't do it. Red hair occurs less and sets you apart.
