Yes. Deportation is a much stronger deterrent than imprisonment. Prisons don't really solve any problems. Prisoners have too many rights. Deportation would, because you have nothing at that point, and are no longer in a place that you are familiar with. Nor can you come back.

Its being an accessory to a crime. Its aiding and abetting a criminal.I feel its almost an act of treason but perhaps being a felony would be a deterrent .I simply know that if they were doing the same thing to a murderer, thief, rapist, bank robber,etc....it is a crime. It seems to me to be only the "degree" of criminal we are talking about. You just cant pick and choose what laws you wish to obey and which you choose to disregard.
No Amnesty for any nationality of illegal,Support 4437.Identify,locate,report and help Deport. All illegals.

The passage of an Arizona immigration initiative requiring verifiable identification to vote or receive public benefits has spurred similar efforts in other states and created panic among some Hispanics, who are questioning whether it is safe to go to work, shop or send their children to school.
The Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF) — has vowed to fight the new initiative, known as the Arizona Taxpayer and Citizens Protection Act.

Yes ! The problem is that we have such a bunch of a--h--- jusdge that would rule that we are violating their rights. It does not matter that they are violating the basic rights of me you and every legal American Citizen. Incidentally, the majority of people who traffic in illegals are themselves illegal. I know this is true in South Texas. Another of your respondants called them cayotes. I can personally take you to a place in south Texas where you can set at the bar and order illegal for agricultural jobs. Yes, I have reported this to the INS. That is just like the local officials and drug enforcement. "We know but we are waiting to catch the big one." These people, the illegals the cayotes and the business which employ them are stealing our way of life. They are criminals. The illegals and cayotes for illegally entering our country and the elected officials are criminally negligent.

I don't agree that they should lose something that they were born into. If they are natural born citizens of the USA. They may have felt compassion for the suffering and poverty of the people in the other country and thought it was harmless to try and help. Still I do think they should be punished for helping people come here illegally! I think that the law states they do some time in prison but, I'm not sure.

They are criminals. And what makes you think the country that they are bringing illegals from will accept them as new citizens?

Not if they are legal citizens. But they should be arrested for a FELONY. Aiding criminal activity against a FEDERAL LAW.
